When Canberra meets Tasmania

Hey guys, how's everyone doing? Hope everything's fine =)

Just a brief update. During the winter break in June, I went to Tasmania for a week for vacation. After 3 hours (by land)+ 2 hours(by air), finally I reached this beautiful island.

Its a green island of wild, mountainous and beautiful landscapes, which made me feel so tiny again when facing Mother Nature. The highlight of the trip was that I got to meet up with Ying Yang. Having to meet up a S5 friend in Australia is a great blessing to me. He did a great job in showing me around Tassie and I am truly thankful for that. Ok, time for some pictures!

Ying Yang on the cruise. One of the most adventurous tour ever. 3 hours of Tasman Island cruise weaving in and out of deep sea. Although I am defeated by the rough and choppy waves, not to mention the extreme cold weather, still, its worth it! (love the seals very much)

Ying Yang and I in front of the clinical school of UTAS.

Picture taken at Launceston. Does it look like a postcard? =)
Do you see how amazing mother nature is?

Although we are physically far apart, no distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship between us. Wishing everyone all the best here and I hope to see you guys soon in Msia! =)

*please feel free to edit this article if there's any grammatical error etc. since I typed it very quickly.

More Memorable Moments

1. Kiang Boon eats slowly.
Suat Wei: (as a matter of fact)

2. Have you heard of the new way to differentiate eggs?
Zhen Xiang:

Not Sexy Egg vs Sexy Egg

3. Kiang Boon is described as “书本当吃饭吃”.
Zhen Xiang:

4. Suat Wei tries on others' glasses and decides to buy Wen Zhen's. Good choice!

5. Meet our professional extractor (read: interrogator). It's easy to know when she's identified a new target.
Jing Xin: (props chin up with hand while staring straight at Kiang Boon) Ah Boon ah…

She even looks professional!

6. Or Jing Xin may use more invasive techniques.

7. Jing Xin asks Shien Yin a sensitive question directly to her face, placing a hand over her shoulder so that she has nowhere to hide.
Shien Yin: *pause* “Harh?”

8. At that moment, Shien Yin's inner self looks like this.

9. Exclamation of surprise at the standard of kids nowadays.
Angle! Wah!
Jing Xin: (unbelieving)
Chee Yuen:

10. Commercial Break: MyConstitution T-shirts are really nice - especially the left sleeve! Available at the Bar Council office or at any MyConsti event near you, for the reasonable price of RM20. (Sorry. Can't help it.)

11. You go home after spending a hours of nothing but eating and talking. You are surprised that you weren't bored at all, and your cheeks are tired from excessive laughing. You suddenly realise that it's the company that matters after all.

Here lies a REAL post with pictures.

One day, we went to the national museum and found out who we really are...

Hi all. Since we don't get to meet up so often anymore, here's an idea.

Wherever you are, whatever you're up to, will you please post a picture up here with a little caption for the benefit of the rest of S5?
It doesn't have to be long.
It doesn't have to be deep and meaningful.
It doesn't have to be a class photo. It could be a photo of you amidst autumn trees, or sleeping in class, or grinning wickedly during a dissection.
Because we'd always love to know how you're doing.

If this trend works, this blog can become a place not only for nostalgic reminiscence, but also a venue for us to update each other on our lives. Do you think this is okay?

It'll be great if we all join in. ;) Here's a picture for a start! *cough Ting Ying Yang, get the hint cough*

I learn what I live

Throughout the years with s5,

I live with friendliness,

I learn that the world is a nice place in which to live.

I live with honesty and fairness,

I learn what truth and justice are.

I live with sharing,

I learn to be generous.

I live with encouragement,

I learn to be confident.

I live with praise,

I learn to appreciate.

I live with approval,

I learn to like myself.

I live with acceptance,

I learn that the world is still filled with love.

I live with recognition,

I learn to have a goal.

I live with tolerance,

I learn to be patient.

I live with security,

I learn to have faith in myself.

I live with serenity,

I learn to have peace of mind.

Thank you s5. (With lots of love)
